All four of Canada´s forward lines are rolling right now, but one line in particular ison fire – Hendrix Lapierre centring Cole Perfetti and Justin Sourdif. Lapierre and Perfetti each got four points in Tuesday´s 8-0 win over Switzerland and are now tied for the tournament lead with six points each in two games. After the game, Lapierre spoke about the chemistry between the two projected first-round Draft picks in 2020 and the state of the whole team.
“Obviously he’s a great player,” Lapierre said about Perfetti. “He sees the ice pretty well, I think we both get along pretty well – the same as Justin Sourdif, our winger.”
“We’ve played two pretty solid games, I think,” Lapierre continued. “We set the momentum and I think all four lines are going - all 13 forwards and seven d-men. Obviously, we’ve got a big game coming up against the Czechs and we want to finish the round robin unbeaten.”
