Russia, Slovakia, and Sweden are in the semifinals. The fourth team will be clear after Wednesday´s games in Břeclav. Meanwhile in Piešťany, Slovakia will face Sweden in a "group final".
Group A
Wednesday will be decisive for the teams in Břeclav. Although they do not know precise place yet, the Russians have already advanced to thf semifinals. They won over Finns (5-2) and Switzerland (9-2) and did not lose any of the points.
Czechia and Finland did not have this privilege. Tuesday´s game between them ended in a shootout win by the Finns, who will fight for more points with the outsider from Switzerland (15:30 CET). The Czechs have a more difficult position for advancing to the semifinals. If the Finns win in the afternoon, the Czechs must then earn minimally two points (19:00 CET).

Group B
The semifinal positions of the Piešťany group are clear. It will be the game between Slovakia and Sweden that decides first place. Both teams have six points now and they will compare their skills to each other in the evening (19:00 CET).
Before them, the fight for the third position will take place. The Americans and Germans have not earned any of the possible points yet, but one team now must win for the first time. Will Germany surprise the favourite and leave them in fourth place? We will know more after 15:30 CET.
