Cole Perfetti scored the first and last goals of Canada´s 6-0 win over Finland to open the 2019 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. The highly rated prospect for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft also very nearly scored a third before the game was over, but nonetheless it was a good start to what will be a big year in his career.
"I don´t think there´s much pressure throughout the whole year," said Perfetti, looking ahead to the 2019-20 season with the OHL´s Saginaw Spirit. "I´ve been playing this game for 17 years, so I´m just going to keep playing the game that I know and I love. It´s got me here so far, so I´m just going to keep doing what I´ve been doing and things should work out."
